During the period of April, 11-23, 2012 The Rostov State Rachmaninov Conservatoire (Academy) holds
The First International String Music Festival Violina.
Within the frame of the festival The Centre for Supplementary Professional Education holds offers The Violin Proficiency Spring School.
Guests and participants of the festival have the opportunity to take courses and individual lessons, attend master classes and concerts of the leading teachers and performers of Russia, as well as foreign representatives of the Russian violin school. Participants over 8 years old are welcome.

The Rostov State Rachmaninov Conservatoire (RSC) is the largest centre for professional musical education and performing arts in the south of Russia. RSC invites schoolchildren, students, music teachers (professors) and concertizing performers to take part in the Summer School.
The Rostov Conservatoire is the most dynamically developing Music University in Russia. It ranks among the leading academies of Russia. The Summer School teachers are the leading professors of the Rostov State Conservatoire and concertizing performers. Their students and graduates are the laureates of the greatest international musical competitions, as well as the soloists of performing groups in Russia, Europe, America and Asia.

About the Conservatoire
The Rostov state conservatory (academy) of a name of S.V.Rakhmaninov - the largest centre of professional music education, a performing art, a musical science and composer creativity in the south of Russia.
For last 20 years Rostov conservatory (academy) one of the most dynamically developing musical high schools of Russia. Since 2008 the Rostov state conservatory takes in the lead positions in a rating of all of 186 academies of Russia.
At present in the Rostov state conservatory of 89,8 % from an aggregate number of teachers - have academic statuses of the professor, the senior lecturer, the doctor of sciences, the candidate of sciences, and also honorary titles national and honoured artists of Russia, honoured workers of arts of Russia, honoured workers of culture of Russia.
In the Rostov state conservatory (academy) of of a name of S. V. Rakhmaninov preparation of highly professional experts-musicians in all existing in the field of music education of Russia to programs of the higher under-graduate, post-graduate and additional vocational training is carried out.
Graduates of the Rostov conservatory successfully work today in the concert organisations and in symphonic orchestras Russia and 20 countries of Europe, Americas and Asia, are soloists Big and Mariinsky theatres, Kiev, of Musorgsky, of Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko of the opera theatres, the New opera and the Rostov musical theatre.
